Prayer for Children is a 1944 book by Rachel Field. His artwork by Elizabeth Orton Jones won him the Caldecott Medal in 1945. The entire book is narrated by a little girl, but represents the children as a whole. It reflects their love for God, and their gentleness to mankind as a whole.
